Sally Chang has been a part of this writing community for 2 years and we are gathering resources to publish an anthology of our collected works. Across a wide span of ages, languages, styles, and stories, we represent the multitudes within the Asian Diaspora. This Anthology will weave together a tapestry of unique voices to claim our narrative in first person, and uplift people of the Asian Diaspora.

Contribute at the gofundme and tune into the talk! (scroll down on that page)

San Francisco-born poet and author Genny Lim has facilitated writing classes for the Asian Diaspora for decades, nurturing intergenerational communities to transmute collective wounds such as Japanese incarceration, immigration, warfare, patriarchy, racism, and anti-Asian violence; as well as celebrating ancestral cultural wisdom for healing and liberation. This fundraiser goes toward creating an Anthology that will showcase our manifold AAPI stories.

  • "Wisdom and Compassion...

are the two words I feel best describe Sally Chang. Her generous way of caring and teaching, so clearly connected to deep spiritual knowledge, is a gift to anyone who is the recipient. She shares her powerful insights and inner glow with a strong heart. I am happy to be in Sally’s orbit”

    —Jaune Evans

  • "Approachable, affable, kind, patient, wise, compassionate,

super bright and smart, hip, and down to earth while in touch with heaven. An excellent listener, with a profound knowledge of Chinese medicine, practical application and, most of all, is uninterruptedly fully present.”

    —Tim K. Murphy

  • "Deeply impressed by Sally's Accomodating and Compassionate Teaching Style

Her combined familiarity with the vernacular of Western scientific understanding, and the knowledge conveyed over millennia from the deep lineage she carries via Chinese culture. I have never seen anything like this —so comfortable in putting the two together, in such an articulate fashion — anywhere.”

    —Phillip Dibner

  • "The Benefits of Taiji, are increased awareness, both spacially and kinesthetically,

improved balance, and flexibility, and a centering and grounding in the midst of a very busy schedule. Sally Chang has a profound knowledge of Taiji, and her gracious, kind, gentle, and professional manner are a pleasure.”

    —Ellen Rankin

  • "The workshop was a perfect introductory class, and made me feel my body for the first time and in a way that never occurred in Yoga—which I still love for other reasons

Your organization and method of building on and repeating each movement was extraordinarily effective. I don’t know Qigong’s purpose, but I do know that it is having a real effect on my bike riding. My arms and wrists no longer hurt during a long ride and engaging my core and breath while riding generates much more power in each stroke. “

    —Desmond L. Brown

  • "...been practicing for 25+ years and the growth I'm experiencing is easy to define: Better Mood, Posture, Vitality,

Sleep, impulse control pertinent to behaviors and thought patterns, and improved quality of relationships. Synthesis of her teachers, melded with her own deep study, personal cultivation, East Asian medical study, and teaching experience has led to one of the most high impact and accessible Qigong teachings I've experienced. The pacing and ability to convey the information cannot be beat. I look forward to spending more time with Sally as a teacher. “

    —Ben Zappin, L.Ac.

  • "...opening, accepting, and illuminating.”

“I cannot adequately express my appreciation for your teaching — your understanding, knowledge of the body, and your general manner all come together in a way that is so opening, accepting, and illuminating.”

    —J.D.
